The South East coast of Scotland doesn’t just sit there looking pretty - it dares you to show up properly. Wide skies, endless water, Tantallon Castle holding its ground in the background, and Bass Rock just quietly doing its thing out at sea.

There they were, growing a tiny human, strolling the shore, letting the golden light chase every step.

We spent the whole shoot on the beach, wandering, climbing out onto rocks for the shot, taking our chances with footing and timing, and just letting it all unfold. No jackets, no fuss - just soft light, salty air, and that feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be. As golden hour hit, they changed outfits and danced along the water’s edge, completely in their own world. The kind of moments you can’t plan, can’t pose, just there for a second and then gone again. Exactly the ones that matter most.
